Kirk spent several years in the Orange County office of a national law firm before shifting his practice to represent plaintiffs, and since 2003 his practice has focused on representing employees in wage and hour class actions in both state and federal courts.
Since 2003 Kirk has worked on class action cases resulting in the recovery of over $300 million on behalf of employees in California and around the United States. These matters have involved some of the largest companies in the nation, including Sears Roebuck, AT&T, Verizon, Bank of America, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Borders, T-Mobile, Edward Jones, CGMI (Red Lobster & Olive Garden), CKE (Carls Jr.), and many others.
Kirk is admitted to practice in all California State Courts and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Central, Northern and Southern Districts of California, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, graduating cum laude, and is a member of the Order of the Coif and Order of Barristers. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the College of William and Mary.
