Alexis Hames

Alexis Hames first joined Makarem & Associates as a law clerk in 2017. Ms. Hames' work as an employment attorney includes all aspects of case management including new client intake, taking and defending depositions, discovery, pre-trial motions, and client relations. Ms. Hames graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2018. During law school, Ms. Hames earned a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine's Straus Institute. She also received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in her Negotiation Theory & Practice course, along with her J.D. During law school, Ms. Hames clerked for a United States Magistrate Judge in the Eastern District of Oklahoma and interned for Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County before joining Makarem & Associates.

Prior to law school, Ms. Hames graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2015, magna cum laude, with a B.A. in Journalism.
