Pregnancy Discrimination Settlement For Nurse Technician
Former nurse technician who became pregnant while employed. After giving notice of her pregnancy and related work limitations, Defendant refused to properly accommodate her, began to harass her, and also cut her hours. She was forced to go out on leave early due to Defendant’s failure to accommodate. When she attempted to return to work, she was terminated on the grounds that her position had been “eliminated” while she was on leave. Resulted in a confidential settlement.
