Is Your Lawyer a Super Lawyer?

Is Your Lawyer a Super Lawyer?

In 2007, Ron was selected as one of the Top 20 Attorneys in California under the age of 40. In 2010 he was nominated for inclusion in the Super Lawyers-Rising Stars Edition, and earned the Super Lawyer distinction from 2011-2017.

How Do You Get Recognized As A Super Lawyer?

Every year, Super Lawyers magazine publishes a list of the most outstanding lawyers across the country. The process is a comprehensive attempt to identify ethical lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and accomplishment. In order to identify nominees, Super Lawyers relies on peer nominations and evaluations as well as third party research, both of which help maintain the integrity of its selections.

Less than 5 percent of the practicing lawyers in a given state are included in the each year’s Super Lawyers edition, and no more than 2.5 percent of the attorneys in a given state are included as Rising Stars. It’s a very selective distinction, and is awarded only to the attorneys who are regarded as the best in their field.

What does it mean to be listed as a Super Lawyer?

If you’re faced with a legal problem, you need an outstanding attorney to represent you. However, not all attorneys are created equally, and it’s important that you choose the right attorney for your case. But how do you know which attorney is right for you? To help you decide, Super Lawyers magazine scours the country every year in search of the best attorneys in their field. In short, Super Lawyers helps identify lawyers that can be relied on as a resource for clients in need of legal representation.

Notable Cases Litigated by Ron Makarem

Super Lawyer nominees are honored for their accomplishments. On his path to being nominated as a Super Lawyer, Ron Makarem represented clients in a number of high profile cases.

In representing a reality-television writer in the high-profile case against Donald Trump, NBC, and reality-television producer Mark Burnett regarding the hit-television show “The Apprentice,” Ron took the depositions of both Donald Trump and Mark Burnett. After two years of hard fought litigation against Irell & Manella, Ron successfully argued against Burnett’s motions for summary judgment and the case settled.

Ron has also been successful in obtaining several multi-million dollar verdicts for victims of legal malpractice, elder abuse, and more.
